Greetings to all fishing enthusiasts from Big Eye 2 Sportfishing, located in the beautiful Quepos, Costa Rica. As your professional sport fishing captain, Franklin Araya, I am excited to share with you our fishing report for today.
We had the pleasure of fishing with a group of local Costa Rican clients. The day was bright, sunny, and perfect for a fishing adventure. We were fortunate enough to catch a mix of species, demonstrating the rich biodiversity of our Costa Rican waters.
We started off with the exciting catch of 6 Tuna. Known for their speed and strength, these fish provided a thrilling challenge for our clients. These fish are not only a pleasure to catch but also make for a delicious meal, a bonus for any angler.
The highlight of the day, however, was reeling in 6 Sailfish. These majestic creatures are a sight to behold with their long, slender bodies and characteristic dorsal fin or “sail”. Catching a Sailfish is a bucket-list item for many sport fishermen due to their size, beauty, and the skill required to reel them in. Our clients were ecstatic to have such a successful day on the water.
The day was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and the thrill of the catch – the perfect embodiment of what sport fishing in Quepos, Costa Rica has to offer.
