Another exciting day on the water with Big Eye 2 Sportfishing in Quepos, Costa Rica! As your trusted sport fishing captain, Franklin Araya, I am thrilled to share our latest fishing report with you.

We kicked off our day under the Costa Rican sun with the salty air in our lungs and the anticipation of a good catch in our hearts. The waters of Quepos were calm and welcoming, providing the perfect setting for our sport fishing adventure.

Our anglers were eager to try their hand at fly fishing – a technique that requires patience and skill. We were fortunate to hook not one, not two, but three magnificent sailfish using this method. Each sailfish put up a thrilling fight, leaping and diving in an attempt to shake free from the line. However, our anglers demonstrated great determination and skill, successfully reeling in each one.

Sailfish are renowned for their speed and agility, making them a highly sought after catch in the sport fishing world. Their iridescent blue and silver hues glisten in the sunlight, creating a truly spectacular sight as they break through the water’s surface.

In addition to our sailfish success, we also managed to reel in a sizeable tuna. Tuna are known for their strength and speed, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for any angler. The thrill of the chase followed by the satisfaction of landing such a powerful creature is what sport fishing in Quepos, Costa Rica is all about.

At Big Eye 2 Sportfishing, we pride ourselves on providing unforgettable fishing experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or trying sport fishing for the first time, our experienced crew and I, Captain Franklin Araya, are dedicated to ensuring your fishing trip is a success.
